The firmly structured, spicy, licorice and herb-tinged, black currant-scented and flavored 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley is medium to full-bodied and ripe, but I am not sure it has the intensity of the 2002 or the seductive fragrance (at least not yet) of the 2001. It should be consumed in its first 10-12 years. Robert Parker 91 points (Feb 2005)
